Here are some pictures from the launch. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
STS-114 Slideshow
Because of the foam problem, the shuttle fleet has been grounded until engineers are fully confident and able to understand the problem. However, it seems like our crew will still be able to return in Discovery safely. Full Story...

very nice!
Hi! Oddly enough, my goal is to become an Astronaut as well! I'm hoping to do a double PHD in Astrophysics and Biology when I'm about 40 and then go soon after. I really hope you make it!
And yes, the launch was amazing. I was so upset because it was supposed to take off on my birthday, but it's still incredible!
Thanks for your blog!
Have you noticed you are getting between 500/1000 hits a day to your blog now? Absolutly amazing! Keep doing what you're doing, and thank you for allowing us to share in your dream.
God Bless you.
Great site!! Thanks so much for the beautiful pictures, and for caring about the space program. I hope your dream comes true. Go for it! God bless.
Cool flickr slide show. Thanks!
Hi..
Can I add you to my link?
Thanks.
Love your site!!!!
Yeah by the way the fleet is grounded again.
TIME TO STOP THE SHUTTLE PROGRAM.
They need to replace it, and should have been working on that for a while now.
I curious , the energy source in the space shuttle came from were ?
I love your pictures!
very very nice job realy
Amazing pics! I always wanted to be an astronaut.
Phenomonal slide show ! Thank you .. this time we couldn't make it down.
It's marvelous there are so many women training , and becoming Astronauts, now even aboard as CDR... like Collins.
Go for it !
I love the photos of the shuttle taking off. THANKS!
i love this site!!!!!
Of all the blogs I have read this is the one to beat them all. Amazing pics, great ambition, hope it all works out.
Ahoy there! I found your Blog through the Blogger web-site and wow, you are gonna be an astronaut! That's beyond awesome! I have always wanted to be an astronaut too, but when I just super-sucked at physics, I gave up. Wow! Well, I'd better start reading now what you've got to tell. Exciting stuff!!!! Miles of smiles, Astrid.
Hi Just came across your blog awhile ago and I enjoyed your slideshow. Awesome pictures. wow.
Awesome pictures!! Thanks for sharing these, and the rest of your brilliant website!! Nice to know, as we work to re-invent our space program, that wonderful folks like yourself continue to "boldly go!" Best wishes!
Nice pictures of an out-dated pointless hunk of junk landing.
Little trips up to low-Earth orbit and back have zero merit, scientific or otherwise.
All they achieve is publicity. It's like some kind of hugely expensive, space-based reality TV show, and nothing more.
The shuttle program should have been put out of its misery 10 years ago. It's time to come up with something better.
Cool pix. Way to go!
