Happy birthday, Damaris. I haven't been to your blog in a while, busy with my own schooling. I'm actually planning on coming down to the cape for this launch-- too bad they sold out the tickets to the viewing area while I was filling out the form. At least I got tickets to the cape, though. I'm hoping the best for your application this time around-- the events at school this past year got too much in the way for me to submit my application (I'm not officially qualified yet anyway, so I'm not too broken up about it), but I'll definitely have mine in next time! At least I managed to pass my qualifying exams, so the time was well spent. In the mean time, I'll focus on finishing my Ph.D. and getting more heavily involved in the research at Goddard. What a great career we've chosen!

Hi Damaris you don't know me but I was an intern at KSC this summer and got to work with our co-workers in TPS for a couple of weeks and I just wanted to say I love your site you are doing exactly what I want to do and it's awesome. I wish I could have met you while I was there but they said you were over seas for training.
