Space Shuttle Discovery makes it to the launch pad and the picture under that one is of the payload ready to be installed in the cargo bay.

I started this blog to document the actions I am taking in trying to become an astronaut. It's my ultimate goal, my dream. hmm...overworked!?! haha. Thanks for catching that! I changed it!
I've always wondered why is the cargo loaded at the pad instead of at the VAB? Both it and the shuttle have to be moved to the pad anyway.
