I started this blog to document the actions I am taking in trying to become an astronaut. It's my ultimate goal, my dream. Every week or so I post a new update to recap the week or add interesting pictures. I hope you enjoy the site and remember to follow your dreams no matter what others may think of them.

Damaris-
I came across your blog via the nasawatch website and found it quite interesting. I run a space business council in Washington DC and am currently in the process of hiring a research assistant. If you would like to find out more regarding my Council (the Space Enterprise Council)and talk to me about the position, my contact info can be found our the Council website: www.uschamber.com/space
Awesome!! I wish I could see an orbiter that up-close and personal. :)
Hello, I saw a note on NASAWatch about your blog. Good luck with obtaining your goal.
I work at KSC for USA and I am a skydiver as well. My home DZ is in Titusville. Where is your home DZ?
Okay, you win!
Coolest job ever!
What an absolutely fantastic blog you have here, Damaris. I wish you great success as you strive to become an astronaut. I shall live vicariously through you. I have always wanted to venture into space, but my brain is not wired in such a way that it makes sense in today's rather limited methods of becoming an astronaut. I will likely pay for a ride up - I look forward to feeling the essence of space and translating the wonder into paintings, sketches, and writings.
Keep working at it - and keep the blog coming...I look forward to your fist blog from the ISS. Henry.
Hey, great idea. You're now linked up on NASASpaceflight.com's forums where all the Shuttle workers go. So you're going to get busy around here. Keep the OPF images coming!
Great idea with the site. You're actually linked up on one of the orbiter processing sections on the forum at NASASpaceflight.com forum, so you're going to get busy here real soon :o That's where all the Shuttle workers go.
Keep the OPF images coming.
