Yesterday I watched the launch from the beach with some friends. It was nice because we watch the launch as we were swimming in the ocean. It was a great launch and beach day!

I started this blog to document the actions I am taking in trying to become an astronaut. It's my ultimate goal, my dream. Every week or so I post a new update to recap the week or add interesting pictures. I hope you enjoy the site and remember to follow your dreams no matter what others may think of them.

It was incredible! I saw it for the first time in real life. We were about 100 yards to the south of Space View Park, and we had a beautiful view. We're planning to go back for Atlantis in October. I wish we could have been closer. Which beach were you at?
One more question... does watching a shuttle launch ever get old? I can't imagine that it does.
What? No swimsuit photos of future astronauts? Just kididng. I wanted to go, but I had so many errands to do that it did not happen. glad all went well with the shuttle.
The Cape must be a lovely place. It looks so beautiful in the videos and photos... Makes me want to be there.
