The weather just does not look good to land here today so Mission Control has waived both attempts to land at Kennedy Space Center. The astronauts will spend another day in space and try again tomorrow at 9:16 a.m. EDT!
I started this blog to document the actions I am taking in trying to become an astronaut. It's my ultimate goal, my dream. Every week or so I post a new update to recap the week or add interesting pictures. I hope you enjoy the site and remember to follow your dreams no matter what others may think of them.

Interesting day job. Should have worshipped things instead of heroines in school.
I wonder how many people miss Hubble as much as I do!
The greatest exploration event of all time has been reduced to the boring job of getting our astronauts home, safe and sound.
My main feelings are the following: being scared for our heroic space travelers, want to save NASA money, etc.
Thank you STS 125.
KSC is such an amazing place when I was there in 1998 to watch the Sts-91 launch, travelled all the way from Australia, hope to go back soon to see another launch.Hope to see a shuttle up close one day,Damaris Thanks for a great insight of the space program
