

The Shuttle Carrier Aircraft departed from Runway 22 at Edwards Air Force Base.
Due to weather, Atlantis will make a stop in El Paso, Texas and stay their overnight at the Biggs Army Airfield.
I started this blog to document the actions I am taking in trying to become an astronaut. It's my ultimate goal, my dream. It's funny how the shuttle seems large in pics like this. Yet, when I see pics of the orbiter with folks standing next to it on the ground, it seems tiny. Odd how perspective messes with ya like this!
