Well, I'm back from my vacation from the West Coast and I had a great time. Below are just some highlights of my trip!
Big Four Ice Caves in Washington: The snow had not melted yet so the caves were not formed yet.

Nice pictures - brings back memories of my youth in the Pacific Northwest.... BTW, did you put the pair of Mt. St. Helens pix side-by-side on purpose - I was able to draw the thumbnails together while free viewing into stereo. I had to tilt my head just a little to correct the framing. I see a little smoke coming from the summit area too.
Mount St Helen is actually in Washington.
Thanks Jerry! I corrected the location of Mount St. Helens.
Any news of the next possible Astronaut Class? 2yrs from now? How far out in advance are they making the posting to USAJOBS, etc?
Hi Dustin,
I've heard two sides to this. I've heard the the selection will be every 2 years as it has been planned in the past...AND...I've also heard that the selection will be on a as-needed basis based on how progress goes for the Constellation program's vehicle.
With all this beauty on Earth, why go into space?
Damaris,
I hope you'll get to be an astronaut soon!
Good luck :)
